Aunt Seabella’s Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup sifted all-purpose flour

  • 2 egg yolks

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/3 cup margarine

  • 2 squares of chocolate (melted and cooled)

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup sour milk (2 tablespoons + 1 cup milk)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Cream margarine until soft and fluffy.
  • Gradually add sugar, beating until light.
  • Beat in egg yolks.
  • Blend in melted chocolate
  • Mix in flour and baking soda alternating with sour milk.
  • Empty mixture into an 8 in square pan.
  • Bake for 35 minutes.
