Wild or Brown Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck browned with 1 medium chopped onion

  • 1/2 cup brown or wild rice – cooked 15 minutes and drained

  • 1 can mushroom soup (do not dilute)

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (do not dilute)

  • 1 can mushrooms chopped (or fresh)

  • 1/2 small package Pepperidge Farm dressing

  • 1/2 cup blanched almonds (toasted)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Mix first 5 ingredients together and put in greased pan or casserole dish.
  • Cover with 1/2 package of Pepperidge Farm dressing (follow directions on package), adding chopped almonds to the dressing.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or freeze until ready to use.
